PRINCIPAL’S PERSONAL HISTORY
Gene A. Kreamer, President of Kreamer Survey Associates, is a licensed Professional Land Surveyor. For the past twenty four years, Mr. Kreamer has been progressively establishing a surveying practice in the Snyder/Union/Northumberland County area. Prior to this period, he was employed from May 1984 through October 1993 with an engineering and surveying firm in the Harrisburg area. During that time, the principal gained extensive exposure and experience in the research of land title records and deed research and the preparation of subdivision and land development plans from simple two lot subdivisions to subdivisions of more than two hundred lots.
He was responsible as a project manager for development and design of projects from the conceptual stage to design and construction of public improvements such as sanitary and storm sewers, streets and storm water management facilities. Duties included plan presentations to municipal planning commissions and to supervisors and commissioners on behalf of clients, and also conversely as a representative of the consulting firm reviewing plans on behalf of the municipalities. The experience gained working in the greater Harrisburg-York-Carlisle area provided exposure to many facets of the surveying/engineering field, leading to unmatched skill with property surveying in Selinsgrove and Central Pennsylvania. Other responsibilities included the supervision of office staff and management of projects from the initial concept stage to completion of construction.
Gene A. Kreamer has also taught classes at the Harrisburg Area Community College on a part-time basis from 1993 to 1996, teaching a Fundamentals of Surveying class.
Attended Williamsport Area Community College and graduated in 1984 with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Civil Engineering Technology. Mr. Kreamer graduated in the top of his class and received a scholarship award from the Susquehanna Branch of the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers.
Registration as a Professional Land Surveyor was obtained in January of 1990.
When not working on civil engineering in Selinsgrove and Central Pennsylvania Gene loves spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and extended family. He is an active member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church where he served on the Congregational Council and as a past-President.
